1 ) 他用他的机智逃过了法律的制裁,但却逃不了因果的报应
6.6分。男主角是一位猎手,他用他的机智逃过了法律的制裁,但却逃不了因果的报应:孩子命没了,老婆健康没了,最后自己也自杀了。主角如果平时带老婆出来亲近大自然,而不是只顾和好友去猎鸭的话,是不会导至那凄凉的结果的。主角最后没有对鸭子开枪,并自杀,也许是醒悟过来,并自杀来忏悔吧,但电影并没有表达出这一点意思。
2 ) Allen Ward,在自然中恣意生活的男人
说实话我一开始只觉得开头有趣,中途却无法与Ward共情,觉得这可能又是个我无法共情的文艺片,但到了电影最后半小时,我却不知怎么的感觉喉咙发梗,最后落泪了。
片头的Wade in the water和景色绝配,恣意的感觉,Allen Ward,用知识渊博用来逃脱法律制裁,用华丽的语言博得妻子欢心,身为白人却与黑人交好,放弃万贯家财去狩猎。这么做并不是因为所谓的反抗,而是因为他的野性,他喜欢自然,他与自然是一体的。他了解狩猎的对象,也从来不超过配额。这样的人怎能不让人觉得有趣!但是看到后面他对妻子的态度让我对他颇有微词,Lucy非常懂他,喜欢他的野性,正因如此才能接受他的粗鲁他的情绪,还送给他钢笔,让他用另一种方式来对抗新时代的潮流。所以后来Lucy把Ward告上法庭简直是夫妻调情(笑)Ward也终于反思了自己,认识到了自己伤害到了他关心的人。Lucy也怀孕了,多好啊,在听到Lucy生产消息前,他拍照的时候给人的感觉,多么快意自由!可惜被老天爷摆了一道,儿子刚出生就死了,妻子也精神失常。Lucy在被带去疗养院之前Ward带她去看那条河,后悔自己没有早点带她来,没有让她进入自己的世界,可惜为时已晚。失去了他的狗,他的妻子,他只能又回到那片湿地。然而随着工业化城市化的推进,尽管他一直在报刊发表文章,也是无力,他猎的鸭子已经不被接受。那把火烧掉了那些鸭子,也烧掉了他在那片湿地中的栖息之所。最后他在那条河上,放走为儿子刻的木鸭,木鸭却突然消失在视野中,那几秒镜头看得我很难过。但是他又看到了那只木鸭,他站在船上,张开双臂,听着鸭鸣,好像又找回了与自然的连接,他最终回归了自然的怀抱,快乐的,自由的。
Jack说Christmas其实一直在告诉他Ward是怎么死去的,但是他的精神并未屈服,他并未死去。片尾再次响起Wade in the water,与片头迥然不同的风格,让人感觉到内心的平静。

But there are others who are determined to reshape that wheel and turn back the tide, and they appear ready to do it. Maybe they are right, representing as they do, an impulse in the breast of man that drives our species toward restless industry. Maybe we are here to remake everything, reshape everything, create our new idea of perfection, and leave God's idea to the dim shades of history. And maybe I, having fought against that new idea, rejected that idea, found that idea abhorrent, maybe I was wrong. But I do not think so. Because I believe if we have grown as a species, it has been because of the test of wildness, and if we succeed in remaking wildness into mildness, then we will begin to diminish. But all I have accomplished, is a broken knuckle or two, and hurting myself and my own more than those who are the target of my calumny. So perhaps I'd do better to take my pokes on these pages and take direction from the Bard "Let there be gall enough in thy ink". It's worth a try.

I've written dozens of articles on shooting and twice more than that lambasting the damn fool game laws. I probably know more quotes from English letters than any man, save an Oxford don. I can tell you the name, use, colour and disposition of a dozen type of feathers, and at least that many species of waterfowl. I have a collection of Confederate money I saved myself, beginning before the war ended, and a lifetime of practical experience, having virtually no value in the world today. 50 years on the river I love, and the damn thing has washed me up on the bank of a city I no longer recognize, inhabited by people I don't remember inviting here. All those arguments won, and now it seems I've misplaced my winnings. So be it. This is where I pulled my skiff.
The important thing about a man's death is how it reflects his life, if it was on his own terms and if there was some meaning in it.

典型美国人的无聊文化,一个清华大学哲学系的学生回到乡下,自然有一群傻逼会去跟随。真相就是贩卖白人理论,狗~全世界的狗日本狗,沙特狗,台湾狗,新加坡狗,黑人是奴才跟着就算自由了?
一个垃圾故事,一群人假装在听,还像听不懂就是傻逼,有些美国片也是要批判的,别装绿茶婊了。

我在十月里因为“尔雅”的推荐看完“萨凡纳”的时候,标记了五星推荐,实际上我写的是六星推荐,于是,有个人就时不时问我,何时写一下这片子的影评。我对电影电视剧的评论纯属个人看法,没什么“高端大气上档次”的评论,一直以来就是我喜欢什么我写什么。这片子,我真的很喜欢,前几日又看了一次。事到如今,终于可以写点什么了。
其实,这片子的故事很简单,豆瓣它的介绍亦不过就这么一段“本片根据真实故事改编。讲述了20世纪初(见注释),大名鼎鼎的古怪猎人Ward Allen,身为白人贵族,却和被释黑奴Christmas Moultrie结下了浓厚的友谊。典型的文艺片,意境辽阔,音乐致美,风景如画,对白精致。其中更有詹姆斯·卡维泽的突破性演绎。”至于表现手法,它也只是一个白人Jack将自己儿时认识的一个自由黑人“圣诞节”讲述的故事片段点点滴滴地组成了一个散文般的传奇故事,的确有梭罗《瓦尔登湖》的自然风格,但,许是这样简单,很多人就会很容易忽略它本身的纯粹美国风格。我喜欢这片子,不仅仅因为其中风景画面的美丽,音乐的美丽,还有男主角Ward Allen那样的任性,看的次数越多,便越发觉他与那个悠然自得又离群索居的梭罗有巨大的不同,他的离群索居是为了他的自由自在,哪怕他已经拥有了美丽妻子,他也不会留恋温柔乡,他依然会去猎野鸭,过他往日的生活,不想改变,而那个自由黑人 “圣诞节” 则是他的最佳伴侣,陪他猎雁。

纵观他的字典,充满了真挚、淳朴、诚实的情绪化,其中对自由和诚实的热爱更胜过一切源于知识和修养给予的束缚,更因为他领悟并热爱大自然,他放弃了优渥生活,而投入自然怀抱,然而,萨凡纳正面临着工业发展带来的法律变幻,还有环境伤害,特别是禁止猎野鸭,这项他回归自然的生活之路。在失去了爱犬,失去孩子之后,不久又失去妻子,他只能回到了水泽深处。
看到这里的时候,我想起很多名片:如《乞力马扎罗的雪》,如《德克萨州的巴黎》,对我自己来说,这虽然也算是比较奇怪的联系,前者是海明威的传记,后者是金斯基的名片,其中成就远远超过了《德伯家的苔丝》。归根到底,都是一个男人寻找本真、捍卫自己原则的故事。
影片里,Ward兼具了文人和骑士之风,他会为了俄国理发师剪掉了他已经声明不能剪掉的胡子而差点杀了理发师,同时对来帮架的三个比他魁梧很多的俄罗斯人饱以老拳,甚至令俄罗斯驻美大使威胁他如果重返俄罗斯就将他绑送沙皇,;另一方面他又能接受妻子的建议不仅法庭上口诛,同时报纸上笔伐,为捍卫自己的规则,也以此抑制自己狩猎的渴望;与此同时,他在醉酒中也能非常准确地射中妻子画像中的一双眼睛,之后又在法庭辩论中再次战胜那个公诉人;可见Ward是多么固守自己原则和不肯妥协自我的一个顽劣“孩子”。影片没有实写他的死亡,影片用一段极其美好的画面,让他放生了他为妻子雕刻的木刻野鸭,屹立于他不会游泳的船上,展开双臂,迎接他自沉时的美丽。
“野生的花也可以在城里种植吗?”他在带她去狩猎时这样问她,她回答:“只要加以适当的照顾,野生的花一样可以在城里生长。”然而,他这个原本文明社会里的“天生是个庄园主”变成了“野蛮人”之后,还有多少生存空间呢?同样的,他的黑人挚友“天生是个奴隶”的“圣诞节”至死也同样没有离开这片水泽之地。片中选用的很多黑人歌曲凄美幽远,一环扣一环地突出这这片子的淳朴自然的风格,甚至“圣诞节”也如他唱过的那首黑人歌一样,死在了他常坐着的壁炉前的摇椅上。说到这个黑人的名字“圣诞节”,他生于圣诞节,是否有人想起来《鲁滨孙漂流记》里的“星期五”呢?鲁滨孙在他记忆里的星期五认识了“星期五”(实际上因为鲁滨逊发烧算错了日子,应该是“星期四”)“圣诞节”是Ward叔叔救下的奴隶孩子,长大后成为Ward忠实的挚友,他一直陪伴照顾着Ward,并在他生后讲述他的故事,让他的故事成为了传奇,一个质朴男孩子的传奇。这片子,实际上是男孩子们的故事,男孩子们的传奇,那些具有男性风格的孩子的传奇。
注:最后要指出的是,豆瓣在介绍中写成了20世纪初,实际上,豆瓣此处写错了,Jack开始讲述Ward故事的时候已经是1958年了,那之前,“圣诞节”就已经九十五岁了,而真正的Ward Allen生于1856年8月8日,最后的文章发表时不过刚五十岁,整个故事发生在19世纪里。

比较平淡
#观影手记# 1478 2.5 音乐摄影都好,故事讲得奇烂。
一个忧伤的故事,看完让人内心平静、清醒。四叔魅力谁也挡不住。

真好看。
配乐棒,画面好美,但是实在太出戏了一定有人懂我_(:з」∠)_
因为去了Savannah所以找出这部片子看。看到了很多熟悉的街景,Savannah很美很美,这部片子也是。
俗套的地方处理得都还不错,意境很好。

优美,又有一点悲伤,因为时势不可逆转,人事不可挽回。广袤壮美的河岸风光平衡了剧情,人物小传,友情爱情,野性的呼唤和文明的驯化。过去现在两条时间线,缅怀的是一个传奇,一个过去的时代,时代的亲历者逝去,只有萨凡纳河静美如初。仅以口耳相传的故事致以敬意。
JC粉也不能给多于三星了。剧本真的有问题
李四不是很适合这个角色,导演功力不够,拍得ward没什么魅力,友谊也没看出多少,我乐于接受自我放逐,但是电影无感。

景色很美
很有人文气息的一部片子,一个与时代浪潮背道而驰的人,最终埋葬在自己的坚持和信仰中。最后水上的镜头太美了!

营造气氛很好,故事终究还是不行。
四分之一人与自然,四分之一好基友,四分之一神仙眷侣,四分之一唐吉珂德。既然是情人节即将到来,推荐大家过滤其他,好好欣赏如诗画面和天籁音乐,被JC的诗人灵魂和野性体魄迷个神魂颠倒吧!(本人选取唐吉珂德)
